What is Nuit de l'improvisation?

are real parties in a game consisting of improvised fusion of artistic disciplines. From the moment you enter the theater and during intermissions the audience will find different genres of music, dance, singing, juggling and percussion.

Event Background:

The first international presentation of the Night of Improvisation took place in Montevideo in September 2010 at the Teatro Solis. During the meeting attended by over thirty musicians and performers of various genres in both countries, under the direction of Jean-François ZYGEL.

On that occasion and to the success of Montevideo, it was decided to replicate the experience through the participation of Uruguayan artists in the "Nuit de l'improvisation" in Paris.

How does the Nuit de l `improvisatio this May 9?

The main feature A dye is to be Uruguayan, with urban and indigenous melodies from various musical roots. To achieve this effect the organizers have invited eight artists who participated in the Uruguayan Night of Improvisation in Montevideo to travel to Paris:

Tamara Cubas, Besuievsky Carolina, Rodolfo Vidal, Popo Romano Bantu and the Body.

This time the lineup of luxury that has chosen Chirimini directed by Tomas Olivera will be: July Margarine, Wellington Smith and Miguel Garcia, representatives of a school of tradition of culture of the conga. We must remind our readers that it was declared intangible heritage of humanity.

The night takes place in 3 parts of one hour each, and two intermissions. Each part of the show will be devoted to different departments of Uruguay.
